Hello, and welcome to Career Closeup. My name is Abraham Lopez.
And I am Francis Lopez. Career Closeup is an online resource that aims to bring career information through personal interviews.
This podcast came about during a period of transition through high school where Francis and I realized there weren’t a lot of resources with first person accounts of career insights within particular fields.
We felt it was important to get a first hand account of perspectives and experiences in order to come away with the good, the bad and a potential outlook for a life in that career.
My brother and I saw the lack of information in these areas would make it more difficult for many of us to start seriously considering the career path we would want to pursue. In establishing this podcast, we hope that we can provide a great reference in that everyday listeners out there may be inspired and motivated to either start or continue on their course. You will find that many of our guests are ordinary people whose perseverance and drive helped them obtain success in their fields.
The many different guests we will have on this podcast are taking time out of their own schedule, and while we welcome all feedback, we ask that you please be courteous. If there are any jobs or careers that you would like to hear about, please let us know.
Lastly, this program is our first venture into the podcasting world. We appreciate your input and patience as we develop this program for you.
